Over 45 years of quilting experience
Hello, I am Annie, and I would love to share my passion about quilting . I have experience teaching all levels of students and ages. I come from a long legacy of sewing in my family.
In my professional life I work as a midwife and school nurse. I have attended 1500 births. I have found in quilting a quiet respite to the demands of a busy life.
Recently this summer I traveled to the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln Nebraska and there I saw the most amazing quilts from women made over 100+ years ago. It reinforced what I believe about quilting; that it is a creative art, it can be therapy or evoke a meditative space, and most importantly to give a quilt is an act of love.
